Buy Buy Baby

A new baby store has opened in our area & it is fantastic. Buy Buy Baby (parent company is Bed Bath & Beyond) is terrific and has a great variety for baby & toddler.
Buy Buy Baby has an excellent selection of top of the line products that I had to order online when my daughter was a baby. They also accept Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, competitor coupons & manufacturer coupons. Extra bonus! :)
Being in the customer service industry- I am a HUGE stickler on excellent customer service. The employees were very helpful & also nice. They went out of their way to make sure I found what I was there for even if it meant going through numerous boxes to find the item.
I will always be a Pottery Barn Kids faithful for many items & furniture but I was very impressed with Buy Buy Baby.  I highly recommend Buy Buy Baby if you have one in your city or within driving distance.

Happy Shopping!

Fifty Shades Trilogy

With my mom & so many girlfriends reading the Fifty Shades Trilogy & listening to all the hype, I decided to download all 3 books onto my IPAD and read them. 10 days later after turning 50 shades of RED,  I was finished & left wanting to read more!

Although this love story is much different then any I have read before and the material is beyond anything I have ever imagined or thought about- it was a great read & I can't wait for the movie.
An open mind is much needed when reading because it does go beyond most of our comfort zone.

The first book was redundant at times & I skipped through the multiple pages of the characters sexual relations, the second book was more exciting & the 3rd was by far the best. The sex & sexual encounters included things I never heard of or ever imagined but could spice up any relationship for sure.

Last night on Extra (one of my guilty TV pleasures to keep me updated on the Hollywood gossip),
they were talking about who would play the characters and my husband became very interested in knowing more about the books. I tried explaining but in the end we decided we would re-read them together or I would read them to him since he is not a big reader.

Although it is fiction, it left me wondering how many Christian's or Mrs. Robinson's there are in the world, who really has sex that many times in a day or week & is erotica really this popular???

If you're open to a great read- this Trilogy is great but not for everyone.

Happy reading.

We're back & have so much to blog about!

Wow... I can't believe it has been almost 3 months since our last blog! Time flies when you have toddlers & unexpected life events that keep you from doing all the things we love like blogging!

We going to do our best to get on a blogging routine so we can share lots of great stuff with our MOM friends.

It's been 4 months since my shoulder surgery. The whole process has been quite overwhelming but I must say I have learned so much about myself: my boundaries, my patience, demands on myself, expectations of others and how AWESOME us MOMS really are.

I never expected rehab to be a full-time job and having so many limitation for such a long period of time.
I needed the help of 4-5 people to do everything I do every day. My wonderful mama stayed with us at night and took great care of us all then my terrific nanny was here during the day.
The real work started when my nanny left for nursing school and it was all me. I had to get myself into a restricted routine with limitations and try to explain to a 2 year old why I couldn't pick her up. Through perseverance and a fabulous physical therapist who is now a great friend, I am making huge strides towards a full recovery.

During my down time, I read the Fifty Shades Trilogy in 10 days, became highly addicted to Pinterest, started planning my daughters 3rd birthday and created some new delicious recipes.

My biggest piece of advice from this ordeal is to protect your shoulders- we take so much of what we do for granted until something tragic prevents us from doing our day to day routine. If you have shoulder issues or any other body injury- keep it strong and put off surgery as the last resort or until your children are old enough to understand and help you with every day activities.
